TEHRAN, Dec. 9 (MNA) Irans FM has said the greater step after Genčve deal is all sides commitment to implementation of the deal.
Mehr News reported that Mohammad Javad Zarif had met Yang Jiechi, Chinese presidents special envoy on Sunday in Tehran.
Zarif emphasized on the strategic partnership between Iran and China and expressed Irans willingness to improve the level of economic and political relations with China.
About the nuclear program, Zarif said that the test had been started for all sides of the nuclear agreement.
He pointed to relations between Iran and China in ancient world and believed that extending relations with the east was the Islamic Republics important strategic approaches in foreign policy. He also expressed hope both sides attain a good level of mutual understanding of the positions taken through diplomatic exchanges.
A great step was taken in Genčve, but more important now is the test of commitment of all sides to the nuclear deal. Now, all sides should be alert that extremist groups in some countries would not strike the implementation of the deal out of the track, Zarif was quoted to say.
Yang Jiechi evaluated Chinas relations with Iran as strategic and long-term, and bilateral political, economical and cultural ties as good.
Irans strong position in Genčve nuclear talks has created a turning point in the nuclear negotiations, and enlightened the worlds public opinion, he added, and that Genčve negotiations should progress according to equality principles and mutual respect.
The member of Chinese Government Council emphasized that China believed that only negotiation would be a good solution to Irans nuclear issue. China has always emphasized Irans right to nuclear energy. We are against unilateral sanctions on any country, and would not allow them, he said.
