Iran to send astronomer to space in 2024

TEHRAN (ISNA)- An official in Iran's Aerospace Research Institute announced the country plans to launch the first generation of explorer equipped with a special capsule for carrying astronomer to suborbital flight in four years, Mohammad Ebrahimi said.
"If we can send 2-toned satellites to geo-orbit by next 12 years, we can be able to send 2-toned aerospace to space carrying astronomer as well," he added.

Ebrahimi added Iran will be able to produce appropriate capsule with high�safety and large dimensions equipped with emergency escape system to send astronomer to space to suborbital flight in next 3-4 years.
