'Hazem', latest Iranian defense drone capable of bombing

Commandar of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base, describing details of the country's latest defense unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), has said that the UAV, with long-range flight capability, can be used to bombard targets.

Referring to the increasing capabilities of the defense industry in designing and constructing UAVs, Amir-Farzad Esmaili Commandar of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base announced that Iran launched the country's latest defense UAV, called 'Hazem', in air defense missions.

The top Iranian commander�added that 'Hazem' was designed in three short, medium, and long-range models by the Ghorb (Headquarter) complex and the air defense experts as a hidden layer for the air defense headquarter.

Esmaili emphasized that the drone is used for both targeting and identifying. 'Hazem' can be used as a target for our artillery and missile systems and in detection missions, he explained.

The word 'Hazem' means using the enemies' ignorance to attack them.
