Iranian filmmaker Reza Dormishians latest production I'm Not Angry is slated to represent the countrys cinema at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival.
I'm Not Angry as Irans only representative at this years festival will be screened at the Panorama fictional features section.
The movie is to compete with the worlds remarkable films such as Blind by Eskil Vogt a production from Norway and Netherlands, Love Is Strange by Ira Sachs from US and Fever by Elfi Mikesch produced in Luxembourg and Austria.
A number of eminent Iranian theater stars play roles in Dormishians newly created drama.
Born in 1981, Dormishian started his career in cinema by writing as a film critic for several newspapers in 1997, and later as executive editor for cinema books and magazines.
His debut feature-length film Hatred was screened in many international festivals and received critical acclaim and awards.
Hatred that was hailed by critics and audiences in the 30th edition of Iran's Fajr Film Festival was screened at the 2012 Montreal World Film Festival in Canada, the 28th Warsaw Film Festival in Poland and the fifth edition of Jaipur International Film Festival in India.
The 64th annual Berlin International Film Festival is scheduled to be held from February 6 to 16, 2014.
