TEHRAN, Jan. 23 (MNA) � Five Iranian skiers will participate in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Mohammad Kiadarbandsari, Hossein Saveh Shemshaki and Forough Abbasi will participate in Alpine Skiing and Sattar Seid and Farzaneh Rezasoltani will represent Iran in cross country skiing.

The 2014 Winter Olympics, officially the XXII Olympic Winter Games, or the 22nd Winter Olympics, are scheduled to take place from 6 to 23 February 2014, in Sochi, Russia, with some events held in the resort town of Krasnaya Polyana.

The Winter Olympics opening ceremony takes place on February 7th.
