Iran-Italy trade volume hits $724m

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran-Italy non-oil trade value hit 724 million dollars during the first 9 months of the Iranian calendar year (started on March 21).
Based on the recent report released by Iran's Customs, Iran's exports to Italy totaled 121.1 and its imports reached 603 million dollars during the first 10 months of the Iranian calendar year.

Italy has been the 9th largest market for Iranian goods and the 20th largest one in terms of exports.

Machineries, mechanical devices, pharmaceutical supplementary and transmission lift were Iran's imports from Italy over the last 10 months.

Raw skins of animals, hand-woven carpet, steel and iron, urea, engine parts, car spares, saffron and cast iron were the most important Iranian exports to Italy.

Italy is one of countries expected to be interested in making investment in different economic sectors.
