AMMONNEWS - Head of media office in Iranian embassy, Hameid Hajipour said that the Iranian government appointed Mojtaba Ferdosipour as Iran new ambassador in Amman.
Amman and Tehran have decided to exchange ambassadors, after six years, the new appointment came after a meeting was held between the two country's foreign ministers last month.
Jordan has not officially named its new ambassador to Israel yet, while media reports said that the foreign ministry plans to name Ahmad al-Jawarnah as its new ambassador to Iran.
Mojtaba Ferdosipour, was a Director General of Iranian Foreign Ministry Office for Middle Eastern Affairs, and he will arrive in the Jordanian capital, Amman soon.
Right now Nessar al-Habashaneh is active in Iran as Jordan's Charge Affaires.
