Iran hosted the 1st International Conference on Women and Islamic Awakening in Tehran on July 10, 2012.[/caption]Tehran, March 19, IRNA The sixth meeting of the Islamic Awakening Supreme Council kicked off in Tehran on Monday.
Head of the Expediency Councils Research Center Ali Akbar Velayati, several leading figures and influential personalities from various countries are attending the meeting.
The participants will exchange views on the latest developments in the Islamic world and the region during the day-long event.
Iran has hosted several international gatherings on the Islamic Awakening movement in the past few years.
