Tehran, March 12, IRNA Speaker of the Iranian parliament (Majlis) Ali Larijani on Wednesday strongly criticized the sneaky meeting of the EU officials in Tehran.
Referring to an unofficial meeting of the European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton here, Larijani said the move was far from the degnity of the EU delegation.
Rejecting comments made by an MP who had said the move was an example of capitulation, he said, Although the sneaky meeting of the EU officials in Tehran was far from their dignity, that should not be compared to capitualtion.
No world country is as free and independent as Iran, Larijani stressed.
