TEHRAN (ISNA)- British non-resident Charge d' Affaires Ajay in Iran Sharma plans to visit Iran for the 4th time for administration work."I am visiting Iran for the 4th time. I hope that I can have useful cooperation with Iranian Foreign Ministry officials during the trip," Sharmawrote in his Twitter page.
Iran-Britain relations have been followed directly since late February.
"Since today, Iran-Britain relations will be resumed at the level of non-resident charge d' affaires and without presence of Representative of Interests Section," Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi told ISNA on February 20.
He also said British and Iranian flags were raised in the countries' embassies.
Iran and Britain agreed to upgrade the of their relations to non-resident charge d' affaires on October 8.
