TEHRAN (Tasnim) Iran's Sepahan football team defeated Saudi Arabias Al Hilal in Group D of the AFC Champions League (ACL) on Wednesday evening. The Iranian outfit beat Al Hilal 3-2 thanks to a late goal from Albanian striker Xhevahir Sukaj. In the match held at the Fooladshahr Stadium, Central Iran, Ervin Bulku was on target in the 17th minute for the host. Brazilian Segundo Castillo scored for Al Hilal in the 28th minute and Thiago Neves gave a lead to the visiting team in the 33rd minute. Mehdi Sharifi equalized the match in the 72nd minute. Seven minutes later, Sepahan captain Hadi Aghili missed a penalty. Sukaj found the back of the net from distance in the injury time.
