A four-member German parliamentary delegation has arrived in the Iranian capital of Tehran for a six-day visit, despite pressure from pro-Israeli groups to cancel the trip, Press TV reports.
The German delegation, that arrived in Tehran late Saturday, will hold talks with senior Iranian lawmakers, Secretary of Iran's High Council for Human Rights Mohammad-Javad Larijani, Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad-Mehdi Akhoundzadeh and Chairman of Iran's Chamber ofCommerce, Industries and Mines (ICCIM) Mohammad Nahavandian.
The German parliamentarians are also scheduled to make a visit to the historical city of Isfahan in central Iran onSunday.
