On Monday, Syrian forces raised the national flag in the strategic town of Yabroud after fully retaking its control from foreign-backed militants.
With the help of the Lebanese Resistance Movement Hezbollah, Syrian forces pushed back the foreign-backed militants from Yabroud, the latters last major stronghold in the mountainous region of Qalamoun, near the Lebanese border on Sunday.
The commentator also said Hezbollah stood up very well to Israel during the Zionist regimes 2006 aggression against Lebanon, adding thatthe movement is turning into a far more disciplined, a trained qualified and a more politically acceptable group.
We have created a very strong relationship here across Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah stretching into Russia and what would be half of the Ukraine, Duff said, adding that the area that was intended by the West and its regional allies to be a source of destabilization and fascism is now heading the other direction.
He contended that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has very much won the war in the Arab country.
Hezbollah and Syria are going to be very much aligned with Russia. They are going to get higher quality armaments. There is going to be a more survivable situation not only for Assad but there is going to be a change in the balance of power throughout the region, the commentator said.
