Portrait of Pakistani child to arouse humanitarian sense in drone operators
Nasim Pakistani artists installed a big portrait of an innocent child victims face, facing up in the heavily bombed Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa region of Pakistan, where drone attacks regularly occur to arouse the humanitarian sense in drones controllers.
The artists believe that Predator drone operators often refer to kills as bug splats, since viewing the body through a grainy video image gives the sense of an insect being crushed and decided to challenge this insensitivity and raiseawareness of civilian casualties,notabugsplat.comreported.

The installation is also designed to be captured by satellites in order to make it a permanent part of the landscape on online mapping sites.
