Irans Prosecutor General and spokesman for the judiciary says no decision has been made to end the house arrest of MirHosein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi.
Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei told a press conference: In the election of 2009, a number of people caused injury to the regime. In the process, a number of people and Basij members were killed. Therefore, there was a great injury that was exploited by the countrys enemies.
He said the judiciary has actually treated these opposition leaders with great mercy, and they could have been sentenced to a more severe punishment.
