Iran, Pakistan to extradite prisoners

Tehran, May 12, IRNA Iran and Pakistan here on Monday signed an agreement to extradite prisoners as a humanitarian move.

Iran?s Justice Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi and visiting Adviser to Pakistan?s Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz inked the agreement.

Iran and Pakistan signed several other memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in different sectors during the current visit of the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif aimed at boosting mutual cooperation.

Sharif arrived in Iran Sunday morning to confer with senior Iranian officials on the latest regional and international developments, and explore new avenues for the promotion of Tehran-Islamabad all-out ties.

The Pakistani foreign, economy and trade ministers are accompanying Sharif.
