August 19, The Iran Project - The frequent defeats ofDaeshterrorist groupin various fronts from the axis of resistanceandtheterrorist'sinability to penetratein Iran are considered as the main reasons behind Riyadh's strategy to confront Tehran.
Nowadays, theSaudi intelligence systems have been resorted to the terrorist Mujahedin-eKhalq Organization (MKO), the oldest anti-Iranoppositiongroup,thathas the lengthy record of crimesagainstthe Islamic Republic.
The MKO is the most hated terrorist group by the Iranians because of its history of assassinations and bombings and for siding with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in his eight-year war on Iran in the 1980s.

Iranian officials and political observers believe that the development pointed to likelyRiyadh plansto resuscitatethe moribund group and link it with theTakfirisin orderto coordinate attacks on Iran.
Reactivation of MKOsupporters in Iran
In the meantime, another project has beenlaunchedaimed at supporting MKO instead ofaddressingthe crimesthe terrorist group committed against theIranian nation, and justifying their presence in theEuropean capitals.
Following Iran accepted Resolution 598 of the UN Security Council in 1988andIraqieight-yearimposed warconcludedagainst the country, the MKObloody invasionskyrocketed.
Then thelate founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini orderedMKOprisoners to be executed due to their support for the atrocities of the terrorist group.
Persuading AyatollahMontazeri
At that time, themembers of the MKO have been infiltrated in theoffice ofleading clerical figureAyatollahHosseinAliMontazeriand were trying toavoid punishmentof their supporters. The MKO members finally persuaded AyatollahMontazerito write aprotestletter to Imam Khomeiniand subsequentlyhewas relieved of his posts.
In this context, the following questions arise for consideration:
-Why this audio file allegedlyrecorded in 1988,has been airedon the verge ofMKO resurgencewith the support of SaudiArabia?
-Why many of those who involved in the judiciarypower at the time were considered to be close ally of AyatollahMontazeridid not hesitate to punish the MKO memberseven a second?
-While MEK crimes have been provenacross the globe, and according to their own claims they have killedmore than 50 thousandof Iranian military and civilian people, whythis terrorist groupare yetsupported?
At the end, the point is what the respond of Tehran could be regarding Saudi Arabia financial support for the terrorist group and Riyadh endeavors for disintegrating Iran?
