Tehran, January 13, The Iran Project � Head of the faculty of entrepreneurship says according to the figures released by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), Iran�s status in entrepreneurship indexes has been improved compared to last year, noting that Iran ranks fifth among the 60 countries participating in GEM�s survey.

Mohammad Reza Zali, Iran�s head of the University of Tehran� Faculty of�Entrepreneurship noted the survey plan of GEM with participating 60 countries this year, saying that Iran�s status in most of the indexes has improved compared to the previous years.

Referring to the entrepreneurship intention index, Zali stated that Iran�s index has grown from 35% in 2014 (the Persian year of 1393) to 38% in 2015 (the Persian year of 1394).

�Iran�s rate in perceived entrepreneurship opportunities has increased by 13% in current year,� he underlined, adding that Iran ranks fifth among 60 countries participating in the GEM�s survey in index of the country�s entrepreneurs� status.

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor is the world's foremost study of entrepreneurship.
